Today\, the acceleration of AI is exacerbating this situation. We need new metaphors and new mental models to provide a fresh perspective on the design of teaching\, learning\, and doing. \nWild Design for Learning offers a bold alternative\, drawing on patterns and processes from the natural world – spirals\, waves\, and fractals – to spark fresh ways of thinking about how we approach our work no matter what the field. \nThis workshop invites people doing social impact work in any sector to engage in dialogue\, creative practice\, and critical reflection as they explore regenerative approaches to their work. Whatever the description\, institutional systems feel unsteady and the world feels unfamiliar. \nThis moment calls us to think expansively. It asks us to be bold in what we imagine for ourselves and in how we choose to operate in the world. What might be possible if we centered dignity in our decision-making each day and in the world we are building? What might be possible if we made a deep and unwavering commitment to each person’s dignity\, including our own? \nJoin us for a 1.5-day retreat created just for educators who want to get to the heart of that question. Together\, we’ll step away from the grind of policies\, standards\, and metrics to reconnect with the why behind our work so that we can envision new ways to do it. \nThis workshop isn’t about checking boxes or finding the perfect framework. It will also help educators rethink the larger systems that need to be transformed to prepare students for fulfilling lives and careers. \nAt the end of the workshop\, participants will have concrete ideas about how to approach their work differently based on feedback.
